Issuance of EORI

The EORI (Economic Operator Identification and Registration) number is a unique identification number in the customs territory of the European Union issued by the competent customs authorities of the Member States to economic operators. In the context of their business activities, it should be used by economic operators in all their dealings with the customs authorities. The EORI number is valid throughout the European Union in all its Member States.

Why does your company need an EORI?
  • It is mandatory for a company to be able to export and import products from and to the country.
  • An EORI number is used as an identification number in all customs procedures when exchanging information with customs administrations.
